I can appreciate this one. Once at work an Hispanic worker had just come back from vacation in Mexico. I was being polite and asked how was his vacay. He said it was great; that they have the best peaches there. I was puzzled. “Peaches?” I asked. “I didn’t know about peaches in Mexico.”
“Oh yes,” he said. “White, sandy peaches with beautiful clear, blue water.” He’d meant “beaches.” 🤣
