He doesn't seem really glad to be leaving, or the thought of travelling a bit might have encouraged him to think about getting to know a new district. Time will tell!

I'm so glad you are a regular writer and that I can count on you being here regularly. I enjoy reading the parts of life that you bring to us. I spend most of my life now with old people.....not that I don't enjoy them but you are like one of my sons or grandsons.

Testing the waters is never a bad idea. Having a safety net is a good idea so long as you guys continue to give him one when all else fails. Hopefully, he doesn't eventually leave you high and dry if a dream job comes through.
