The woman who does a bit of cleaning for me fell down and had to have all her teeth pulled out. I don't know what that cost but a set of dentures is 4 thousand pounds.
Once on the National Health it would have been free. Those were the days. 🌺🌺

Any time health care, no matter the type, is big business the consumer will pay the price or go without. I believe in a decent profit but billions and billions on a quarterly basis is so outrageous! I just checked a medication with my provider only to discover it's not covered and the monthly cost is $471. That's for four doses. Luckily there's a generic one covered. I am glad you were not left with medical bills. Losing him is hard enough without the added cost of his care on your plate. You are fortunate in that respect. I hope the days are getting a bit easier for you.

Try letting your friend know to check out local dental schools. Implant prices have become more affordable and even more so at the schools. Nobody should have to go without medical or dental work because of cost.

Good Morning
Kabu, that is a lot of money for dental work. I have two teeth missing in the back of my mouth. One on each side, and my dentist made me a bridge. I do have very good dental insurance, and I'm so glad. I'm wondering if you will be able to use Jim's health insurance in Canada? We've got a muddy mess here. We are expecting rain here later in the day. I hope you have a nice day. Tell Mr. Graysome that Sadie and I said Hi! I was thinking about you and couldn't help but think you truly are a world traveler.

It's not that the country that has gone nuts. It's that the current officials in D.C. are lining their own pockets at the expense of the tax-paying folks who work for a living.

Hi, I agree money is the best cushion for a comfortable old age anywhere in the world.
In India the doctors & health services are good in private hospitals and maybe not exorbitant like it's in some countries.
