I'm very sorry for the rough patch of days. Here is to hoping the ensuing days are brighter.

It's all very well when we choose to change, but sometimes like your times now, and could be anyone's at any time, change is forced on us, and there are so many feelings about that, it's overwhelming to think about, let alone to live it. Time works at its own pace to heal and re-order life and settle all the stirred-up stuff... Small bites, lots of sleep, plenty of escapistry with books, movies, games... Things that matter less than they seem to at first will evaporate in time, leaving only the necessary and important. And alone is an illusion.

Unfortunately there are going to be rough days ahead. Just be good to yourself. Life will get better when you get to Adnohr's. You have a lot of living do still. so get a plan together like you were 20 again and take on the world!

May the nights get better. I’m sure it is a very difficult time you and my heart goes out to you. Glad you and Graysome are getting by each day with each other’s company. 🌹

Kabu, make sure you get out of the house. Make up a reason. When you feel like you are losing your peace. Play a song that reminds you of happy days. If you have a recording of his voice. Play it. Praying for you, my sister. So glad you have a pet to boost your spirits. My mother tells me that she often speaks to my father. It is how she copes with his passing. I know you have experience. But I believe by your post. That experience does not make it any easier to accept. Keep the faith.

Well, at least he knows enough to listen to mama's stern no when he hears it.
