CCT.....

I had an Uncle Paul just like that.   And yes, his name was really Paul.   He made life interesting and his wife kept him in line.

Nobody makes someone gamble except listening to their own sirens. Jim was the only guy who never gambled and I appreciated it.

Re: S G.

Thank you, S.G. I am still following a different pathway to your previous picture of the Castle and daffodils. I do feel much sadness emanates from the old stones in contrast

to the youthful feel of the daffodils. Take care.🦋🌺

Re: SAm

Sam why don't you post a poem or two just for fun I don't think many here remember yours. Or are they  book copyright. Sam for a while I did some on a poetry site but it was fairly harrowing .🌺

Re: Sherri

This describes the plight of the gambler well.

Oh, this is brilliant! Gambling is exactly like that. One man's loss is another man's win. 🎰🃏

Awesome poem. I love the ending. The cadence was fantastic and marvelous imagery!

This one’s a gem on many levels. It rings true as well. How easy it is to feel bad for someone yet retain our own lifestyle and simply carry on. Well done! 😄🌹
