If it is in Jim's account, don't pay it . Goodness dear get a bit harder. It is easy to give money away when one is young it is a cruel world out there. I would take anything of value.🌺🌺

I would highly recommend that you withdraw the money from the bank right away. It is really amazing how insensitive a family can be. I have friends and family who have experienced the greed of loved ones. Whatever happens, I believe you will come out on top. Having a will is so important these days.Â

I wouldn't let the money set in the bank for the taking. I'd make a withdrawal on Monday morning and open an account in your name at a different bank so that you can have available funds for travel and food. Good luck.

Dear sweet, Soul Sister, I am at a loss to fully understand what is happening with Jim’s children and the house and the money you have put into it.
I hope they give you time to assess what you need to do. Can your sons help you at all? My heart feels so sad for you but I know Canada awaits and that is your Happy Place of Peace, methinks. At least for now…🌹

This a vertible nightmare. I hope you can get your money. It is a joint account. I would think if it is a joint account the money remaining is yours. Good luck with this one!

I think maybe this is a good time to head for Canada - especially if the heat wave that has been moving from west to east is striking there in Omaha. It's 88 degrees here in southern Illinois - and no doubt very much like a summer day there, as well. Canada should be much cooler now, and in the summer months. Sending hugs.
