I know that song very well. I jokingly say it should only be played on Mondays.

Thank you dear friend. It just takes time to adjust and come to terms with a new beginning.

Everyone has written such great comments that I don’t think I can add anything more except that everyone is pulling for you, as my mom would say. Sending hugs and love.🌹

Writing your blog post every day gives you purpose. Tending to your flowers, going out for ice cream with your neighbor friend, reading a good book while sipping tea in the four seasons room, and taking care of Mr. Graysome will get you through the humdrum of Mondays. I wish you all the best.

Good Evening
Kabu, I'm so thankful you are checking in so we know how you are doing. I'm hoping you have a calm, peaceful week. I have to reschedule my dental appointment once my cold sore clears up. The girl at the office was so nice when I called to cancel. I know everything will work out just the way it is supposed to for you. I think you are a very strong person, and you and Mr. Graysome have each other. I've been here long enough to remember what it was like for you in Canada. I was so amazed by you when you would go to town when it was snowing and didn't think too much about it. Trish was a gem and a good friend. How is she doing?

Kabu.....
I'm so glad you are continuing writing at this hard time in your life. It sound like you are holding it all together, even it the midst of hard times. Just keep thinking about all of the good times in your life and the worthy people in your life and keep coming here to share with your friends. We all love you even though we never seen you in person, we feel like we have.

We lose someone, but really is it life when one is ill all the time. I know you did your best.
You see dear, other folk could not hack it, I think you would have lost Jim a long time ago but for your care. Obviously no one else would have offered to help. You have put a lot into the house. I looked it up here and the remaining spouse takes possession of the house.
Which makes sense really because the survivor would have no where to live. Just check it out on Google or somewhere or the solicitor. You cannot afford to be sentimental. I just hope it is the same for you. 🌺🌺

I don't remember that song, or that I heard it after I retired. I check the calendar most days, just so I can keep track of what day it is. I really like Mondays - that's the day the kids come back to school and get out on the playground across the street after two days when it is mostly deserted. Sending hugs.
