Re: Lo Sam.
Yes poor man looked very frail. I think maybe the horse were replaced by tractors I don't know how he got caught up on the war and was a Japanese prisoner. His paintings were interesting but he had an air of sadness. Thank you .🌺

Re: Good Evening
Yes, we have to be careful today the water pipe way into the hills has burst. The water board brought me twelve bottles of water. So I am not using tap water for drinking.
I did buy a few bottles a week or so ago I don't know if I like it or not it slightly fizzy.🦋

Re: Sea Gypsy
This actual man was a customer when I did an egg delivery. He was very very frail and had been a Japanese War prisoner. He called me Son although I was fifty.🌺

Re: Sherri
There were no grants in those days, Sherri. The old age pension for a widow was ten shillings weekly.🦋

What a great find there. It's always interesting reading of the rules.

Conforming to the rules and regulations is not an easy task when the requirements are unattainable and one does not have the funds. You would think that the heads of the school would know they are blocking missed opportunities for the intelligent young lives to excel because of their denial to them.

Good Evening
This is very good as always! Thanks for sharing it. I hope you are doing well. I hope you are having a cup of tea on rainy days. It seems to be a warming treat. Our snow is gone, but it's going to rain for the next few days. It makes it hard when Sadie wants to run and play in the mud. Then she has to come in and get a bath. I hope your neighbors are good. Have you seen the cat lately?

This felt like a novella in poetic form. Outstanding! It was so easy to relate to and have compassion for the protagonist as it were. I felt like I had witnessed this in real time. The cadence was so smooth and had me wanting more. I like the cliff hanger at the end where daring not to ask and leaving it up to the reader to cast their own ending/conclusion. I want to believe he desired a simple life for that was his comfort zone. I am a big believe in finding a comfort zone and staying in it. Well done!Â
