Thank you to the best group of friends in the world. You have got me stopped feeling sorry for myself. Can't think when I am wallowing in Oh poor me unless it is oh pour me another drink!!

I think Jim is worrying to much. As you said before he has a long time to go before the insurance runs out, It does not sound an ideal existence I would suss out other ways of dealing safely with the treatment if it is possible. . 🌺🌺

I'm sorry that you are worrying yourself silly. Being sleep deprived is not helpful for clear thinking. I would just take one day at a time. Talk to someone in charge of the legalities of the situation and formulate a plan of action. Hugs.

Try singing to him.....

No matter what you sing, singing raises the spirits.    Yesterday  a friend was worn out from a trip to doctor and downcast.  I started singing, "Here I am to save the day....Mighty mouse is on his way...."    and she started laughing and we had a fun visit.  As I was leaving, I heard her behind closed doors singing the Mighty Mouse song.

There is no reason you can't sit with him while he is on dialysis. Why not try it. It's boring for him and he may enjoy the company, perhaps. Sam444 is right. This can be sorted out. Blessings to you, dear.
