- Go to So, back into see Jim this afternoon.
If Covid was around I would have said get him out quickly.
Now I don't know, one has to weigh up the options.
Also you must be sure that you could cope at this stage.
No easy answer, dearie🌺🌺

I like the idea of that exercise equipment for him. That will help a lot.

Even though you are qualified and the most caring one of all, I'm suggesting you do not bring him home without their blessing. He might be just fine, or there could be something they're doing that is making a difference, and he could lose ground again. I know this is hard. Hugs.

I think you could speak with his admitting doctor and with a dialysis center or wherever they do it in your area. Or he could have home dialysis set-up. He is coming along nicely. You get your rest now while you can.

When ever Jim sits in a chair he can do heel raises. Both feet at the same time. As many as he can in one sitting, then switch to alternating heel raises, same reps as he can. The foot lifts, same scenario and followed by toe curls. The heel raises strengthen the calf myxmsckes to help circulation. He can do ankle circles in bed. Legs lifts in bed work as well. Just some thoughts for him. I'm happy you gjt him moving!

You would think you could sign him out, but I guess it narrows down to who signed him into the dialysis center. The professionals must feel like he needs it. Hopefully, the weights and the stationary cycle will help him to become more mobile and be sound enough to go home.
