Well cheerful news my house insurance and liability is over one thousand pounds and it keeps going up each year  I don't remember what the rates are. I could have bought a small cottage for 250 pounds once, but I did not have the money. 🌺

In Maryland, our insurance rates have gone crazy, too. This inflation is something and not in a good way.

Good sign, that Jim's remembering the 'daily dozen' on the to-do list. This hopeful post made me smile. 😂

Good Morning

Kabu, I think owning a home is very expensive, but I do love it.  There are house taxes, house insurance, and let's not forget utilities.  I'm so glad Jim is improving.  The dialysis is really helping him.  I'm glad you got to see him today.

Kabu.....

What can I say but "How do you do?"    I stopped driving more than five years ago so I also stopped paying car insurance.   I feel very fortunate with the way I live at this stage of my life.   Also, with at least three family members passing away from Alzheimers I feel very fortunate that I have health and strength and mentality to take care of my own needs other than driving and loving family chauffeurs.

My escrow was just evaluated for this year. Thanks to house insurance my payment went up $75 per month. It's simply madness and I live in a red state, too. Can't wait to move, lol. I'm glad Jim is doing better. It has to take a load off your mind!
