- Go to So cold outside today I just poked my nose outside the front door,.
Winter is everywhere. Luckily, we didn't have to fight the wind today. I hate it when the powers that be fail to protect the local community while testing. In heavily populated areas, power plants are often placed in poorer communities because they have no way to block them.

My neighbor's have just come back from 6 weeks in Australia. The wife is in bed just drinking water. I don't think they will go again. It just rains here. When the Romans were here they grew grapes. Some time ago fairs were held on the Thames the ice was so thick.
I wonder if Global warning is a natural Fee nom ee Bull?🌺🌺

I don't think it's a coincidence, either. There was a prevailing wind in a community I worked in that brought the emissions from a nuclear across a large swath for many miles. People living on that area were diagnosed with cancer. I was certain it was due to the power plant. No one on either side was afflicted with cancer. I was thrilled to not be in its path but lost 5 dear friends because of it. We only have two months until Spring, yahoo. We're not going to make it! Lol

I am very thankful for my heating system this time of the year. I cannot imagine life without it.

I've just been thinking Australia must be much warmer these days than anyplace in the Midwest of the USA. Stay cozy.

Good Morning
Kabu, it's hard to believe the authorities would allow people to live in such unsafe conditions. It's terrible. I'm so sorry you and your family were subjected to this.

Kabu.....
I don't know what my extended family lived down wind of, but what seemed to run in our family was thyroid problems and gall bladder problems.

Oh, how lovely to have your house all warm and cozy. And what a tragedy that you lived downwind from atomic testing. So sorry. 🌹
