Re: sam444

Yes, it was not popular with me. I wore an MIA copper bracelet for years in remembrance of those who were missing. I’m sorry about your BIL. Very sad. Your poor children. I’m on the six-month check-up plan for skin cancers. Grateful for it. My daughter had a suspicious area pop up at her hairline and ended up with it being a skin cancers. She’s glad her hair covers the scar.

Re: Sherri

I had one real bad one on my face. They used a cream that ate a hole in my skin. I go every six months and get the spots frozen. The can appear out of the blue. Sorry it was so bad for you.

Re: CCT

The Wimp Wagon? Yep, I usually am on it. I did stay in the sun a lot to tan up nice and golden. It must have been frightful ti go to school with a gas mask in your back thudding along the ground. 🌹

Thank you. Yes, in the end, the memories truly help. His wife had asked me for any old photos I had before he passed because he was enjoying looking at them. I was glad to help with that.

Oh, how I remember Viet Nam. I lost two marvelous friends in that damn war. And, my brother-in-law, a helicopter gunner died from non secretory multiple melanoma. All this over agent orange. His death devastated my children. I'm so sorry for the loss of your cousin but I loved the moments you all shared. You are right, for a time it was glorious. I've had the nitrogen treatment for pre-canceous spot on my face. It was crazy! You were smart to get the treatment. Skin cancer is deadly.

My deepest condolences on your family's loss. Red rose I just love your reference to Bitch n.' I lived near San Francisco in the early 80s. My oldest daughter was born in Merced. We used to drive to SF to see the sights. You are definitely not a whimp. I know this just by your dealing with the facial cauterization. I had a cancerous spot removed from my face years ago and it hurt like Hell. I pray for better days for you, my friend. Winking smile

Evidentially you had to climb back on that wagon. I think some women are tougher than men. I think I remember you saying, you loved the Sun once. That's funny it reminded me of my Gas Mask thudding on my back as I raced to school. 🌺😒
