When I was young we lived next door to my aunt and uncle. She had the town post office in the front of their house. My father was born on President's day. She would always tease me She closed it because it was my dad's birthday. Being a kid I wanted closed on my birthday. Never happened, lol!

Many of the nicest areas around Maryland and Virginia were once farmland. I hope the members of their families were as humble as you are. Continued blessings.

So many parallels between the settlement of Australia and North America (the USA) with pioneer families making a life in the wilds, using what was there to their advantage, helping their neighbors, etc.
