My mom has slowed down on her cooking. She still, however, cooks her famous pound cake. It is her most requested dish. It is a blessing to have a Mom whom you still cherish. Whose very presence was comforting and supportive. Your family appears to have many of your mother's traits. Praying for your healing. So glad that you and your husband have each other's backs. Sea-Gypsy.....
I'm afraid I just do not cook for anyone else anymore (I would if it were an emergency). I cooked myself out years ago. I haven't been to a pot luck in years. I just had a "Beet Chewy" for breakfast and a cup of coffee. About once every hour I nibble on something. I know, I know....not the best way to do things, but I seem to thrive on it.

Good Morning
I've felt just like you at different times in my life. I hope all is well. I'm glad you had your daughter to go with you to the doctor. It sounded good to me when you said hubby was holding his own. That seems like a good sign to me. I had to smile when you said you want to make lasagna for Christmas. I'm going to ask my daughter-in-law to make her famous lasagna. She learned from her Italian Grandma and Mom, and it is so good. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season and Christmas. It is very cold here today with snow. Yesterday I was looking at the snow from my warm house, and the sun was shining down on it. It appeared to be glistening. It really was beautiful. The sun didn't warm anything up, but it's nice to have a sunny day when it's so cold outside.
