My wife and I also live separate lives during the football season. She was hating life this Thanksgiving. My mother and I both like to watch football. And there were a lot of games to watch. She did like seeing the Cowboys win. She is a fan. Even though she seldom watches it. At home, we have more than one TV. We have learned to have fun on our own sometimes.

I only shop when I need something. The snow still hasn't covered Pittsburgh, but it will be here any day now. I am not looking forward to it either. Stay warm and enjoy your day.

Good Morning
Kabu, I hope you are staying warm during these cold days. We are expecting more snow today. It's like a winter wonderland at our house. I think today will be a good day to make something in the oven. I hope Jim wakes up in time to see who wins the games.

I live a separate life and it works for me. No one to pick up after, I can come and go as the spirit moves me. And when I talk to myself, I know who's listening & who's ignoring me.

Kabu.....
.....Isn't it interesting, on looking back, to see how our lives have changed from one decade to another and what those changes have brought to us, and us to brought us to. I'm getting ever nearer my ninth decade and I would like to put on the brakes and just remain right at this stage in my life....but it won't let me.

Helen I think all; older folk sleep quite a lot. Probably in the deep past it allowed The Sabre tooth Tiger to pick up a meal. I have not looked at the television for six months..
At least your loved one cooks which is a bonus. 🌺
