Amen. Nurses and nurse aides are the backbone of a hospital. The doctor can order all kinds of stuff, but it's the nurses and aides that make it happen.

Yes, anyone including nurses like myself should always be thanked for what hey do and mostly my patients who survived and went home were very grateful. My favorite place of work, was on a high dependency ward, just one step down from ICU. Yes we had our share of tragedies but oh we had wonderful success stories as well.
