I have never liked TV advertising and never will. We are still wading through the DVD's it has been nearly four years now and soon it will just be series left. I think then I will like to start again for TV holds little interest for me

Well SG  I have not looked at the television for long for ages . I did not know if there was a pill to get hooked on it again or to keep me awake. I agree entirely with your comment..🌺

I am not a commercial person as well. I simply push mute on the remote and when it's over I unmute. Lol works great!

I agree. They're definitely using a psychological tactic to try to tell something to us. I am so thankful for DVRs.

Commercials are why I rarely watch actual tv--always streaming, and mostly commercial-free.

I agree with you 100%. And also, we pay to subscribe to TV. It should be commercial-free. There's a saying about finger-pointing:  if you point one finger at someone else, three fingers are pointing right back at you.

Good Morning

I totally agree with you!  I've had a problem with commercials for a long time and try not to watch them.  Some of them are so offensive that I cannot seriously believe they are on TV.  If I wake up in the middle of the night and turn the TV on, I cringe at what I see.  I cannot seriously put into words what I see.  This is just my opinion, but it is how I feel.

Dear Sea,

You’re absolutely right when you say nobody wants to be pointed at. It’s sort of demeaning the integrity and showing one to be inferior to the one who’s pointing. I remember I had myself been guilty of pointing out enraged, at my boss who, Lateran, gave me a thorough dressing down while politely advising me to be respectful towards one’s position, experience and age. even when I’m in disagreement with others. That lesson i relived a number of times in my growing years and today I respect that person who changed me for the better.
