The trouble with a lot of Doctors is they have forgotten that patients have feelings. My sister bruised her foot and had it bandaged. A week later because she is depressed and her foot was still blue she made an appointment to see her own doctor as it is poetically called.
You should take pills for depression the Doctor said not even looking at her foot.
she was prescribed valium thirty years ago. 🌺 And yes you are always remembered.🌺

In my experience, nurses do a helluva lot more than doctors unless we are talking surgery. I'm not a fan of talking about blood, bowel movements, or surgical procedures while eating, but I'm guessing medical professionals have an iron gut since it goes with the territory. 🤔

Best 'doctor' I ever had was a nurse-practitioner!Â
Another thing doctors don't know about is what tests and medications cost.Â

Good Morning
Great ending to your post. I loved it! I think nurses are so important and have saved many patients. They know what their patients need. My Mom was a nurse.

Love this post’s ending and you are so right. The nurses know everything about the patients. Docs should listen more.Â

From what I've seen in medical settings, nurses are more hands-on, more present than doctors -- but to their credit most doctors were very grateful for their feedback.Â
