I just went through this issue a few months ago. My 11-year-old computer refused to allow the Windows 11 updates to be installed on my dinosaur, so it began to drag and was as slow as a snail. I love my television-sized monitor, so all I needed was a new modem, keyboard, and mouse. I found a good deal at Best Buy on a new desktop PC for $400.

I did not get the tech gene either. I have been asking ChatGPT different tech questions when the need arises...In a way, I do feel powerful when I have something that stumps the expert.

I feel your pain. I used to work at Best Buy. Passwords are probably the single biggest booster for pain medicine other than old age. So you need to keep your password handy and change it often for security. Security created this necessary problem. You are not alone. Hang in there.

Join me please dear friend. I cannot remember one password for anything not my phone nor my laptop especially. I write it down, put it in a sensible safe place...or so I think, then promptly forget said password and don't have a clue where I hid it!

Good Evening
I'm not good at saving my passwords. I try to save them, but that does not always work. The problem is, even when I know my password, a lot of times I still can't get into a site. It amazes me when the bad guys can get into someone's computer when I can't do it with the right password. It amazes me. I hope you can solve all the problems with your computer.

I go to my daughter or son-in-law. I use a password manager because of the frequency of changing the passwords for the sake of safety. Good luck on getting every resolved and your husband's loaded with the things he needs.

You have my sympathy - I'm tech phobic myself and that password glitch sounds all too familiar. I hope you luck into a solution very soon.
