Re: Hello Kabu!!! Sam, Sam, oh, Sam444

I have missed so many favorites, so many good writers, I am so thrilled to see you back, hugs and kisses. It has been so long. Hey you, I have to find out everything you have been doing. Not many here now and No wars which is nice. Lots of us have gotten old but still writing along.

I think the settlement of Australia sounds much like what went on here in North America as it was settled - isolation in rural areas, making do with what you could reach, learning about the native plants and what was edible. Pioneers. They built our foundations.

Times were tough almost everywhere. Australia Canada etc., welcomed  new blood. A bit different today I don't think many who keep coming here would have made it.🌺

I tip my hat to those who settled new areas, not knowing exactly how it would work out.

It sounds like they experienced a fun adventure. I can't wait to read what happened from there. Regular smile
