That had to be unnerving. I have a river near me that can get high. However, it has never threatened anybody and is in a wooded area far from people.

Sudden flooding of a creek bed is so scary and dangerous. Mama used to talk about flash floods hitting in the dry country of the Dakotas when she was a child. Great story about settlement in that historic time.

Well I wonder if like us of you were sprayed with DDT. As soon as a fly was spotted out came the sprayer. Howls of protest we preferred the sticky fly paper, probably the wises🌺🌺t .
