My Mother's Caramel Dumplings. She was such a good cook and everything from scratch without a recipe book.

When we were little we had to eat pomegranates outside. 😂

I used too love pomegranates when small. The first ice cream I had when the war ended was wrapped in a round of card it was Heaven.🌺

I haven't had fried Oreos from the Maryland State Fair in eons. It's better for my arteries, for sure, but I miss it.

Vanilla ice cream for sure. I hardly ate anything as a child but ice cream I loved.

I remember the first time I had Jello poke cake at my friend Susie's house when I was in the 10th grade. Delish! I also love vanilla ice cream, but it does not sit well with my irritable belly.

One of my favorite foods from childhood was Mama's potato salad.

Good Morning
We may get some rain this morning, but the sun is going to come out later in the day. It was such a hot summer, and now it's an adjustment to get used to the chilly mornings. Your ice cream sounds delicious. My favorite ice cream is butter pecan, but I rarely eat it. I don't keep it in the house. I do like vanilla; it's a nice treat. I hope you have a nice day.
