Re: Good Morning

Hi Goldie! Trader Joe's has rose oil hand cream. Not the same thing but it sure has that scent. As I had written, I like freesia or frangipani. Our temps are dropping too and it rained here this morning. Yes, the nights are getting chilly.

Re:

Thank you. Rose oil or snake oil? Open-mouthed smile Seems like there is always something to hawk, though I did read more about it. The people who wrote the write paper seemed convinced but then, that's why they wrote it! Hahahah.

Re:

Thank  you, Sherri. It's good to be back. I think if it works at all, any scent would work, especially a pleasant one to you. I love freesia myself. It's there in the link - a link to the white paper is also embedded in the link. My BS meter is in the middle.

Re:

Thank you. I am not expecting much from the rose oil. There is always someone writing a paper on something, though, isn't there?

Re:

By clicking on the link there is another link which shows the white paper on it. This study was out of Japan but I do think there are others. It's interesting to read. Basically, the idea of a constant scent stimulates one area of the brain and...and...and...

I am curious as to what subsequent studies will say.

We miss you when you can't be here. Don't expect too much from the rose oil!

Welcome back, our galavanting little sea mistress. I have heard that some of those oils are beneficial. I personally love the smell of lemon oil. 🍋

Welcome back. I was wondering how you were doing. Totally agree with you about the BS meter. I think it is going to peg the meter to the highest measurement. You are absolutely correct. Many items sell because we want to believe they will work. It takes less convincing when you're looking for a solution. Goes back to the old wagon days when salesmen would sell whiskey as a cure-all. Merely changing the label.

Welcome back! I don't have much faith in that Rose Oil thing. I think I'll stick with coffee and Prevagen.  Have a great day.

Good Morning

Sea Gypsy, it is so nice to have you back.  I missed you!  I will try the essential oil and see if it works. I have to order it though.   Our temps are dropping, and Fall has finally arrived.  Our nights are chilly.
