I really don't know if we still have pennies I know a lot of shops won't take shrapnel.

They have been trying to eliminate pennies for years. I guess they finally did it. Never thought about how it would affect businesses that price to the penny. Thanks for the knowledge.

I'm sorry to see pennies taken out of circulation. We have an old water bottle filled with them. We estimate the stash to be around $600 to $700. Too bad we can no longer lift it.
