John and I both have busy work weeks; he more than me, with all of the double shifts needed at the steel mill. He hopes to retire at 65. My great-aunt Edith used to tell me that one must have a purpose and not sit back on one's haunches doing nothing. She worked at her and my great-uncle Charles' hardware store well into her mid-90s. He lived to be 101. My mom retired just this year. She is 76. I will keep working until I can no longer keep up.
