It is sort of like Dad's farm. There were reasons he sold it, which I expect to write in my memories that I have just begun, on my site.

Family business is not always easy....

......Family members do not always think alike even when they love each other.

Good Morning

FSI, I think the right decision was made.  Your Dad has a feel for the business and has done well while helping many people over the years.

We often think of our children as less capable of doing important things that require responsibility. Which is not always true. Wills are so important to keep away ill will. Not having one can tear families apart. So glad the right person got the job. Never underestimate what anyone can do. Young or old.

Thank goodness Pop-pop's wishes were finally revealed. Your immediate family appears to have done well with the carwash business, so it was definitely a blessing in disguise. On another note, it's funny how Easterners refer to their grandfathers as Pop-pop. My Pop-pop was my hero. Red heart
