I know it's hard since you're a nurse, but you must tend to your health needs also before it's too late.

Hopefully, you will be able to get your cataracts soon. Maybe you can get family to assist you. It wouldn't hurt to ask. Sometimes your family will surprise you. You don't want to wait too long.

Yes it is a problem, but don't let it get too bad . I ought to have mine done, one has to wait so long on the NSH. Although I can see fairly well and my Sister is about to have hers fixed, she has been waiting over a year of course only one. Her husband just sleeps all day, he just does not want to do anything else. 🌺🌺

Good Evening
Kabu, I will be glad when you get your cataracts taken care of. There is a period of time when you can't bend over, but possibly there is family that could help. Now that I've been through the procedure with both of my eyes, I'm so glad I did because I didn't realize how beautiful the world is. Things were really starting to dim. I was almost totally blind in my left eye and I had no idea because my right eye was doing all the work. They told me it was the dominant eye. I'm so happy that I can see your beautiful flowers. They are very vibrant.

Typical nurse - take care of others before yourself. I wish I lived closer. I would go and spend some time with Jim while you get those cataracts removed.. The difference it makes is incredible!

I had cataract surgery some time ago, and the dr. restored my vision to 20-20, though it has since deteriorated a bit and I wear glasses. One thing you will notice after surgery is that all the colors will be brighter. The cataracts grey things down so slowly you don't realize the day is dim, compared to what you used to see. I hope the situation with Jim clears up soon and you can tend to your own needs, too.
