Once again, thank you for the pun! Not sure you'd know this, but the area northeast of St. Louis and across the Mississippi River had dubbed itself the Riverbend area. Lots of commerce - barge traffic up and down the river passed through Lock & Dam #26 at Alton. Some of Mark Twain's stories came to life north of there at Hannibal, Mo.
