I am praying hard that everything works out for you all. The good news is that he is taking the time to use modern medicine.

Since you write regularly about Jim's leaky legs, I decided to educate myself on this condition. You are a nurse, so you are fully aware of the treatments for advanced edema. My middle daughter's father-in-law has edema, but no leaky legs as of yet. What I learned was that leaky legs, or lymphorrhea, is caused by severe edema or lymphedema, a chronic illness where lymphatic fluid accumulates, usually in the arms or legs. This condition is a severe health risk because it increases the chances of chronic wounds and infections like cellulitis. I read that diet, exercise, elevation, compression, and hydration are all needed to care for leaky legs at home. That is quite a bit of care for one person to handle independently. I wish you the best. (((Hugs)))

Sounds like tough going. You really need more help. One feels helpless in these situations.
It would be Hospital treatment here. Tale care.🌺🌺

Oh, My......
.....I am really concerned about you all. Prayer is the only thing I have to offer. Take care of yourself. You cannot care for him if you are not yourself in good health and in good spirits.
