Thank you, Pat. I've written numerous articles for various newspapers, including two weekly columns, one on sports and the other on politics.
Along the way, I've picked up some unlikely supporters who got me rolling in the basement of the "big leagues," including an agent from Hollywood, named Skip Press. From there, I just kept going. Some of it was luck, but I pressed forward.
I keep writing because it keeps me sane, but also because I enjoy it. My father and my grandfather were both huge storytellers, and I grew up listening to them tell stories I knew full well were not true... but they were interesting. I've watched what Skip has done and I've read his books. Like always, you have to separate the chaff from the grain, but it has been worth it to me!

I admire people - especially writers - who get the stories down and then get them sold. I'd have starved to death in the marketing/selling business. Way to go, V!
