Irritability often does seem to be a sign of recovery, I have found...Some people also have the tendency to think the worst.

Yes ,well, I don't think Jim would have lasted long had you not tended to him. Illness changes a person. One can only hope that the siblings appreciate what you have gone through. A good job that you are married, you have spent a lot to make it work.🌺🌺

It sounds as though the kids are worried about his medical condition since they last saw him. We recently went through this after John's mom had a stroke and passed away a few days later. While she lay in the hospital unresponsive, her six kids each had ideas as to what was best for her if she did come home. She died in the hospital. Then the kids all had different ideas about her viewing and burial. I am so thankful that my parents wrote out their last wishes and had them signed by an attorney. Maybe Jim should do the same.

I hope her visit will reassure Jim's daughter that Nurse Kabu is on the job and he's really not in immediate danger -- so she can take a deep breath and relax. Families can be so stinkin' weird at times. We have to take the love as it's dished up, but sometimes it gets a little salty, doesn't it. I hope the spring weather is beautiful there in Omaha!Â
