It might not be so easy for new business to capture new customers. I expect most folk have an inborn loyalty to the regular service. Nothing is as easy as it looks.

It makes good business and water availability sense to be this way with the number of any industry within a town. I do know though that so many places won't allow you to wash your own car in your drive way unless you just use one bucket, so people need car wash sites to go to. While ever we have private vehicles we need car wash

It does make good business sense. Thanks for educating us about the local township requirements. I know that here in Charles County, Maryland, they built an old-style Car wash about four years ago. I seldom see customers there. Then, about a year ago, they built a new-style car wash with open access to all the car vacs. And it seems to be 3 times as busy.

I'm not sure why, but there has been a recent influx of new open bay, self-serve car washes springing up in and around Pittsburgh and Washington, PA.
