I do worry about the future of America as well. I am praying hard.

I think Australia is the country in the world most like the US, in both good and bad ways. Possibly, though, not so entrenched in the vibes of its beginnings: Where Australia was begun with free-thinking sorts branded as criminals in England, the US started with anti-joy, anti-dancing Puritans.

Sadly, this is true. Our world has become a battleground filled with hate for people and everything in it that we have cherished. The days of friendly chats with neighbors are becoming rare. I pray we can turn it around. Stay safe. Regular smile

Wow you have been busy. Watch that finger. I think ,we should all go to Tipperary. I assume Jim is recovering. It has been a long haul. I read that folk over seventy should not  wash too often just a wipe round the nether regions and retain the natural oil's in the body. I am withholding cheerful news as I don't want you to get exited. Keep up the good work I am just about to do a bit of digging As it is quite pleasant here a bit cold but dry and I need the exercise.

Re: he was damned lucky to find a lovely girl.

my experience in Sydney was that if the  boys were in town whether they were good boys who were billeted with a Christian family or were at the other end getting anything in a skirt as drunk as quickly as they could so they could get her around the corner in a dark spot and.....if they were from the great USA the females were after'em.

I also hope you are wrong, but I have to say I share your concern. We don't have leaders that love our people, our laws or our history right now. One rotten apple - as the saying goes - can ruin the whole barrel. I did mention to you that my uncle George married an Aussie girl, my lovely Aunt Goldie. They met during WWII when George was stationed there. He was darn lucky to find her.
