You are right. There is not much of a recourse to take. It seems that the bureaucracy is stuck in its ways.

Sadly it seems it is all hit and miss these days. You must feel exhausted and being with a patient in hospital is nearly as tiring.. I'll come back soon in my heavy boots. Take care🌺

Doctors can be stupid about stuff they prescribe, so I always talk with the pharmacist who actually do know about drugs' effects and side effects and interactions. Also what they do. And what they cost.Â

I hope you get to bring him home tomorrow. Even if you're there 24-7, you do get to catch up on your sleep now and then. Being home should make him feel better, too. Fingers crossed. BTW you're absolutely right about a 12-hour shift. That's just wrong.
