- Go to lovely inside in the warmth; cold and dreary outside.
Awww - now I am lonesome for that time too.

The animals were well-prepared for that wintry weather.

Sadly we only think of the good things. Remember how when alone you wondered if it was wolves scratching at the door at night. Not much fun being in a a wood alone. Stay tucked in safely you might have another twenty years to enjoy.🌷🌷

I’m glad there’s no damage. I’m sorry you feel homesick but I agree, you light up a home wherever you go so it will all be okay. 🌹

I imagine that Australia is beautiful. I'm sure you do miss home. It's funny how the weather is so different in the various parts of the world. I have lived in states where it never snowed, so I missed it. Now that I live in a place that gets snow, I no longer want it. It was a warm 40 degrees in Pittsburgh today, but we are headed for a freeze starting tomorrow. I can't wait until spring arrives. 🌷

We used to have a lot of visitors from north of the US/Canada border when I lived in Washington - met quite a few of them when I worked at Seattle Central college. Always liked the way Canadians think, their laid-back friendliness. And always enjoyed your posts about your life there. But from what I can see from here, you brighten the corner where you are - so your life in Omaha is OK, too! 👍
