Re: Kabu

It's hard to do! As I posted somewhere on this site, it's AI is pretty good at making GOOD suggestions on what to do and NOT do!

Re: Sea_Gypsy

When I first started, I fluffed a few stories out. As I've matured as a writer, I've learned serious readers all say the same thing! NO FLUFF!
Thanks!

Hope you feel better. I personally have never enjoyed books with too much fluff. I like all action.

In high school I was lucky enough to have an English/History/Writing teacher with a doctorate from Oxford University in England. We 10th-12th grade high schoolers from a rural school in the Cascade foothills received college-level training. Mrs. Newton had married a Yank, a local serviceman from Lewis County, Washington and returned to the USA with him after the war. At that time Hemingway was just becoming famous. Seems to me we focused on "The Sun Also Rises" in an English lit class. His style stemmed in part from his training as a reporter.
