Growing up, my favorite books were the Little Women and the Babysitters Club.

Beverly Cleary was my favorite author growing up. Dear Mr. Henshaw was my favorite book of hers.

Anne of Grey Gables and The William books. We did have a set of Dickens.
Also encyclopedias which we grumbled about as Mother was talked into buying them
saying we could have one each for our birthday. Rebellion ensued.🌺

Good Morning
Kabu, I love the Harry Potter movies. The first one is my favorite. I try to watch it every time it comes on. I love the friendships developed in the movies. It's very cold here but thankfully we are in the house where we are toasty warm.

I’ve always loved books and reading. Mother read books to me probably from before I could talk. By age 9 I had read her poetry books but all the other books I could get my hands on.

I enjoyed Old Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes when I was a kid. There was that classic picture of her riding on the back of a flying goose. Also had one for my kids. I doubt the Harry Potter series could beat those old children's stories.
