Snow sparkling in the sunlight is a pretty sight. We haven't had our official first snow as of yet, but I know it is coming soon. Kitchen cleanup can be the worst of all of the house chores when a full-course meal has been whipped up. It's wonderful that Jim loves to cook and clean up after himself. Enjoy your home cooking and your sunny day.

Oh! dear , dear. I had to smile when you said you were going through the house.
I suppose we all have too. I only post 5 Christmas cards I distribute 7 more as I give the neighbor's their miserly Christmas gifts . Tt is nice to have friendly neighbor's I can always throw snails onto their gardens, little innocent gentleman Gr, grr. I used to do cooking ,but I let my brother do it now ,well he is 15 years younger. Not many birds about of course they may be scoffing at bird tables at this time of year. Foggy here I might just dig for ten minutes or so if it clears at 10 am.. I hope you found the joke, don't tell Jim. 🌺

I had a visitor a bit ago today.....
It was a 100 year old woman with a walker that had brought me a Christmas present that she had made herself.  She colors to keep busy because she enjoys it and it is something she can do. It was a page from a coloring book. It had a big word..."REJOICE" and then all around that were pretty Christmas things. Then she had a helper who goes to thrift stores and gets used frames cheap. She brought me one of her prettiest and wished me Merry Christmas. It made me ashamed that I don't do more giving things.
