- Go to Hi everyone ...Christmas is in the air...it is cold here today. 26F.
If my stack of boxes needing wrapped and put under the tree is any indication, Christmas is definitely in the air. It is in the low 20s here in Pittsburgh. The air is absolutely bone-chilling. One of my favorite pastimes is reading. In fact, I need to visit the free library soon. I enjoy reading romance novels that are set around the Chesapeake. Stay warm and enjoy your day.

My dad had cataracts removed, one before and after the pandemic. He is thrilled with his vision.

Kabu, I wish you would not trying to depress me. We don't call ninety old here a 120 might seem getting on a bit. The stupid nurse asked if I wanted my eyes cattaratted , I said no I want some stronger glasses to enable me to read small print in books. That will not make any difference she said. So I am not going back there again. I can read tiny print but I have to use glasses. My sister does not know whether to have hers done. I told her to have them done privately, One has to wait forever for the N.S. I hope you can still do the knees up.🌺🌺

Good Morning
Kabu, I hope you will soon be able to read again. It's such an enjoyable pastime. I also hope that you, Jim, and Mr. Graysome are staying warm. It's freezing here.

Kabu.....
For as long as I can remember my favorite pastime has always been reading, my favorite gift to receive a book, and my favorite place to be a library. All that changes is the eyes and vision for reading.
