I hope you feel better today, dear. Some days, especially after a trip, one is just tuckered out. Take care.

I can vouch for the weariness of the days after completing a road trip! Sitting and driving doesn't seem like much, but it is more tiring that sitting home in the cozy chair! It's brain-tiring, concentrating on all one has to pay attention to on the road, even if one isn't doing the driving!

It's understandable to be concerned as one reaches the age that one's parents passed away. The great news is that medicine has advanced so much since their time.

Well I would be dead if I had an aspirin a day. So would thousands more.
Time has moved on and don't you dare peg out before me.
I hope you are on the proper medication. If I were a Gnome Doctor
I would probably give you a coat of paint. I cannot think of anything to cheer
you up, unless you would like my ghost to tickle you when I peg out.

Your daddy lived in a different era, on a different diet, and was given treatment for what ailed him according to what was known then. You have been well trained in how to care for yourself and in modern methods - plus which you are female and therefore much stronger. Stop worrying. It puts wrinkles in your forehead. This feeling tired is due to the weather shift from late summer to fall and the prelude to winter. A nap couldn't hurt.

We will have 80-degree temps all week. Yippee! Enjoy it while you can.

Kabu, you are way too active to be dealing with the death card. You have many years of traveling and enjoying life before you cash in your chips. I worried this past year that I wouldn't make it to sixty due to health issues, but here I am. All we can do is live each day as it comes.
