I was given a weak stomach, and unfortunately, I would not have done well as a nurse or any medical setting for that matter.
I know the feeling of trying to look busy at times.

In my opinion, nurses are angels without wings. Yes, some are Nurse Rachet crabby and bossy, but that's not altogether a bad thing. Some people need a firm hand and a watchful eye, or they'll slack off on doing what needs to be done to get better. As we say to military veterans who've served in combat, I say to retired nurses: Thank you for your service!

Good Morning
Kabu, I hope you enjoyed writing. I love to write! We've got a rainy day. It looks like an inside day for Sadie.

Kabu.....
Growing up I always wanted to be a nurse but when I graduated from high school, I was not ready to give up normal life to live in the nurses quarters and to give up boys and marriage which one had to do in those days. Since I was good at office work I did the next best thing and became the secretary to the director of public health nursing for the health department. Boy did I hear the stories of the nurses. Being twenty years older than I was a goodly portion of them became Army Nurses during the Second World War. I got married and had four sons all in a row and my interest in nursing was deferred for the time being. I finally became a nurse after my sons could take care of themselves and had a good twenty years in nursing.

Good luck with your next book. I can barely find the time to post a blog let alone start another book.
