Re: Re: Ciel - Thank You!

Meditation is a great stress reducer! I use it, too, when I remember to!

Goldie

Grateful for the healing. Thank you. Yes, the training and socialization is key to a balanced dog. She was just overly excited and teething. And my skin is so thin.

TAPS

Thank you. Still bandaged but healing. And thanks for the prayers.

Re: Pat

We did have to muzzle our German Shepherd at one time. But this dog will be better trained I think. Our dog had come from a line bred for military use but we were unsophisticated and not home enough to train him as much as we should have because we worked all the time. He was a great dog to us and our friends.

Re: CCT

Ah, that's takes me back. My mother used to say something similar about once a dog has bitten someone. Hopefully that will never be the case.

Re: Good morning

The shot wasn't bad. It was the confusion about whether or not it was safe for me to get it.

Re: Kabu

Puppy loves her classes. They will do whatever it takes to get her trained properly.

Re: Ciel - Thank You!

Absolutely it was the trauma. My sister had a terrible reaction to a tetanus booster (DPT then) that put her in the hospital as a child. After that my father said no more vaccines for his kids. He was an early No Vaxer though we all get our vaccines now. I have endured multiple medical horror experiences during my lifetime and I am nearly medication intolerant. Having a husband with Cancer and other diseases doesn't help lower my stress levels either. Healing from within using meditation usually works for me.

Sounds like trauma reaction more than the tetanus shot, but I'm no expert. But I'd address the emotional stress via a counselor or spiritual healer.

That is good puppy is having classes. being bitten by a dog is a most unpleasant occurrence. Sending hugs love.

I hope they get a muzzle for that pup if he hasn't learned his lesson.

Good Morning

Sea Gypsy, I'm so sorry this happened to you but I'm thankful you are healing.  I hope the puppy does well with training.  Sadie went through training too!
