I think you are right. He had to handle everything when he unexpectedly lost his mom. Now Himself will do it. I’m staying out of it unless specifically asked. 😃

ugh!....I guess he didn't know what to do with them. I know our Wiley came back on a ship from his years in the US air-force with a memento and threw it overboard before hitting the USA shore.

I agree with Pat. Maybe you could donate them to a veteran museum that has an area where the holocaust victim's momentos are displayed.

Good morning
Absolutely. We have honored a few of our deceased relative's last wishes. Some things simply are not for sale and should be placed with the rightful owner or in a place where others can enjoy them.

Re:
I remember as kids only because of your blog that we had a nazi helmet it was I would think made of iron. This was from the first war 1914 -18. It more or less covered the head.'
Of course 1939 -45 an ex-soldier told me that he and his mates just walked into a bank it was empty so they stuffed themselves with bank notes. When they arrived back at England by ship, before they embarked an Officer lectured them saying they would be searched. So they all threw anything dodgy overboard. I do agree with you. 🌺

Nazi memorabilia would be my figurative place to draw a line as well.

Perhaps the sale of these items from WWII will support disabled veterans. I like your idea of turning a bad beginning into a good ending.
