FSI.....

.....Back in the days when I drove a stick shift I never ever took it to a car wash.  I just got a bucket of soapy water and started washing it and then would get the hose and rinse the soap off....a lot like that car wash in the movie with Paul Newman, "Cool Hand Luke".

Good morning

The first car I learned to drive was a manual. Being of part British descent, it is in my blood. The only thing with a stick shift that is hard to navigate is at a stop sign while driving up a hill, especially on a wet road. To put the car in neutral, it is easier on the manual- transmission to push in the clutch rather than just popping it out of gear and into neutral. 🚗Girl hug

I learned on a shift stick and drove cars like that for many years. Now I would have to think about it. Not many of them around I should think.

These days one doesn’t really need to know how to drive a stick shift. I learned how in a baptism of fire - near the hills of San Francisco! I wanted to know how to drive a car with a stick. Glad you can tell the customers what they need to do.

Good Afternoon

FSI, I do not know how to drive a stick.  I'm definitely out of my league.
