It has everything to do with bad decisions. Like 10 million more people in need of food that the stores can't keep up with due to a severe increase in the population. Inflation was caused by a breakdown in the supply chain along with an increase in demand. The pandemic was responsible for the supply chain and government spending on uneccesary funds like stimulus was responsible for the increase in demand.
