Good Morning
FSI, I can understand Josh's concerns. It would make me stop and think too.

I was baptised and joined the Methodist Church when I was fifteen, and then joined the Anglican Church when I was 23.

Interesting Post.....
.....I was baptized at age 9, of my own decision and Biblical beliefs which is quite different from infant baptism.

Re: Good afternoon
A baptism is valid, the Catholic Church does not allow for a second baptism. To do so is considered by the church to be a mortal sin. Brian’s baptism is considered valid, so that is not an option for Brian, who is now in adulthood. The baptisms of clergy in mortal sin are considered valid.
There are exceptions to the rule, like anything in life, but those have to do generally with the procedure of the sacrament itself not being followed properly.

Good afternoon
I can understand his reasons for questioning the Baptism. When in doubt, do what makes him feel better about it. Have him Baptized again.
