I remember in Canada someone staying a couple of days with us and his phone never stopped ringing. he was exhausted from work, eventually I put my hand out when it rang and told his co workers he was really sick and couldn't come to the phone. he got some rest then.

Good afternoon
You can hardly call it a vacation if you are tied up on the phone, hashing out work issues. It's smart of you to put the contraption away and enjoy your time away from it all. I avoid my cell phone while vacationing other than using it to snap photos or for GPS purposes.
