It is expected to stay hot here but there is cloud coverage

Yes I think most of the USA is in for a fry up. I remember in Adelaide the Capitol of South Australia, it was so hot during a real heat wave. People would take an egg outside and fry it on the cement footpath just to show how hot it was. Most back yard gardens, back in the day, were large enough for a flower garden, a vegetable garden a dog and cat and for a few chickens 4-5 girls to eat the bugs and to lay eggs for the family breakfast and for cakes. After they had laid their morning egg the girls were allowed out of their pen to roam and find tasty treats. If that was happening, the vegetable garden had to be firmly enclosed to keep those chookies from eating the produce. I nearly forgot in Adelaide, the Climate was just right to have an orange and lemon tree, grape vine, and peachtree.

So where did the kids play?? Easy answer to that, in the Street with their friends! and also in a park because Adelaide is a city of parks and gardens...or it was. Too long since I visited her.

Oh! dear it sounds rather uncomfortable , It is not very warm here at present. So I drink hot tea. I like wine cold though. You could write a story on here , but each section has not to be too long. Stories have  job to cut the mustard. One has too keep them short and sexy.

Sadly their are no dirty old men around so take that with a pinch of salt. 🌺🌺🌺

There's nothing like a lazy Sunday. I'm thinking it's going to be a long summer as well with the spate of heat.

Good morning

It was extremely hot here yesterday, and we are expecting more of the same weather all week long here in Pittsburgh. I love sun tea. My mom used to make sun tea in an old gallon-sized pickle jar when I was a teenager. 🥤 Stay cool and enjoy your day. Regular smile

Good Evening

Kabu, I hope you stay cool.  It was near 90 today and will be much hotter all week.  I have the fridge stocked with cold drinks.  Lemonade, coke, water, ginger ale and I believe there are a few Gatorads in there too.  There's rootbeer in the pantry for anyone who wants that too.  I'm not a fan of these hot days.  I hope you have a good night.

This is the first blast of extreme and enduring heat around here this summer, a "taste" that is going to become a heaping double helping before it's done. It looks like everyone from the west coast to the east is getting a blast of it. Iced tea sounds like a good idea!
