Good afternoon
The formatting can be a real pain, but the way it looks afterward is worth the hassle. I have found their templates to be easy to use. You should have no problem with your book being seen by Canadians and Australians. Kindle sells your books worldwide once they are published. I have Japanese, Australian, European, Canadian, and Indonesian book purchasers. In fact, my Japanese and Indonesian readers are some of my best book buyers due to both being heavily into the paranormal. Enjoy your clean house.
